Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Keep on Loving it! Drayton Valley Family Photographer

Monday, September 28th, 2009

I think Mamie and I were sisters in a past life. Well, except her house is clean. I know it because I saw it when I dropped in and she wasn’t expecting me. But I figured out that we must have been sisters in a previous life when I saw her son wearing runners with no socks! I do it all the time, it’s gotten to the point that Ryker prefers to wear his shoes without socks now. Here are some pictures of her beautiful family, I really have a huge attachment to these kiddos now. I think it’s the 6th time I’ve photographed them, wow! Thanks guys for always trusting me with your family portraits. It’s always fun!

Friday, September 25th, 2009

This 4 year old girly is a party waiting for a place to happen:) It was so much fun visiting with her while I snuck a few pictures in. What a gorgeous personality and smile she has! Not to mention what a cute little brother she has. He’s a “mini me” of his daddy;) Thanks Sandra and Scott for having me photograph your family for a second time, it’s always a pleasure.

Talk about baby fever! Four of my friends had babies, in the last 3 months, I don’t even know if I’m forgetting anyone.

This baby is her momma’s little gal, and Grandma’s too;) She’s just so adorable, and bright eyed. Thank-you Lizelle and Charles for having me photograph these precious memories for you, she’s absolutely perfect!

It wasn’t easy getting baby to do much except sleep and eat and sleep. I still managed to snag a few gorgeous pictures of this gorgeous three month old, and quite possibly my favorite hands and feet ones ever! Such a sweetie pie. I think she gave me baby fever;) Thanks for the visit Aretha, I had a nice time.

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: The Tummy Baby! (Drayton Valley Maternity Photographer)

Friday, September 18th, 2009

This baby is 1 week over due today and I personally am anxiously awaiting (with my cell phone charged), because we get to babysit the big sister and big brother while their mommy goes to the hospital to deliver! It’s been a treat to see the tummy baby grow up to be a big tummy baby being that it is our neighbour. We just wish she would hurry up and be born so we all can meet her!

Sometimes when I hear how couples met, I get goosebumps. Not all the time, but these guys, they were destined to find each other. They both grew up in South Africa a block away from each other not even knowing one another. Both families moved to Alberta a long time ago, one to Edmonton, one to Drayton Valley, eventually they met on a blind date golfing, and falling in love and getting married! Still gives me goosebumps.

I had so much fun photographing the wedding, it was really nice having help from a fellow PPOC member Jeff Gibbons and of course my good friend Erin Harris. Erin has been helping me for a few seasons of weddings, but this was the first time having Jeff along. I’ve been learning a lot from him and have been able to talk alot of photography which I always love to do! You can check out his blog at http://jeffgibbonsphotography.squarespace.com/.

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: An old farm with a grassy field would be nice! Drayton Valley Family Photographer

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

These guys just get better and better everytime and I am in love with these images! I’m in love with this location because you’ll see that in the next two sessions I’ll share are taken here. It’s so versatile, old buildings and grassy field. What more could a photographer want? ;) I had so much fun at this session, I was dying to see and share the pictures.

Here’s a super nice email sent to me the day after their session:

“Hey Jackie;

I’m not wondering yet if you have the pics posted!! LOL Just wanted to Thank-you so much once again for photographing our yearly family photos! The kids are starting to get really comfortable with you and I think they enjoy all the snap shot attention! Each year it just amazes me how you always seem to come up with a unique way to capture the moments of our family. I can hardly wait to see some of the pics, looking forward to many more yearly photos.

Amanda”

Thank-you Amanda and Ian! I hope you love them as much as I do.
