Sometimes when I hear how couples met, I get goosebumps. Not all the time, but these guys, they were destined to find each other. They both grew up in South Africa a block away from each other not even knowing one another. Both families moved to Alberta a long time ago, one to Edmonton, one to Drayton Valley, eventually they met on a blind date golfing, and falling in love and getting married! Still gives me goosebumps.
I had so much fun photographing the wedding, it was really nice having help from a fellow PPOC member Jeff Gibbons and of course my good friend Erin Harris. Erin has been helping me for a few seasons of weddings, but this was the first time having Jeff along.
