Hey everyone, I am looking for some models. Models will need to sign a release allowing Jackie Hutchinson Photography to use the images that are taken for portfolio use.

I am looking for the following ages…

Newborn- less than 10 days old as of April 30th – if you are due the last week of April or First week of May- this is for you!

Maternity- between 26-30 weeks pregnant as of April 30.

Children- 7-9 months, and 3-6 years old.

All models will receive at least 10 digital files on a disc- a value of $750- for free! If you are interested- please email me at info@jackiehutch.com

it’s a new baby! – okotok’s newborn photographer

I’m pretty excited to be blogging today because I have a big announcement to make. I’ve got my own office! That’s not to be confused with “studio”. I’ve decided to take my business to the next level. From now on I’ll have regular office hours – MWF 9-4 TTh 12-4 I’m hoping to be there earlier on Wednesdays and Fridays. I’m so happy, I’ve been hanging up posters and boudoir ads at the gym, so if you’re in Okotoks keep your eyes peeled for my marketing, please let me know what you think of it;) Pictures of the office are coming, still getting organized. I feel really great about my decision, and also my decision to do all on-location work. Wish me luck!

I’m looking forward to doing a family session tomorrow, they talked about wanting a display on the wall which is always exciting for me! I’m planning on going to a couple of client’s homes to take pictures of their canvas’s so you can see what they look like hanging on the wall. In the meantime here are some sneak peeks from a newborn session I did.

I met Theresa one fine day on the Facebook Okotoks Mamas group. She invited anyone and everyone to come over for an innocent piece of peanut butter pie, and the rest is history. We quickly became good friends and I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with her and her adorable little guy Bodhi Lando Hermanos Fantasticus Gerritsen. Say that in one breath;) To make a sad story short, they’re moving to Bermuda:( I’m not the only one who will miss her though, she made some good friends in town and anyone that knows her is sad to see her go. I wish them the best of luck in the universe! Thank-you for coming into my life Gerritsen’s! Here’s this cute little family I’ve been referring to:

Another fall sneak peek. Here’s how the day went, it was raining, we cancelled, we rescheduled, the forecast said it might stop, so we decided to wait it out and see, and two hours before the session, we decided to go ahead with it and the session turned out wonderfully. If a bit chilly for their little girl;) I love it when it was meant to be! The plan is to make a book with these images. I can’t wait to see it in hardcover print! YAY!

The second Drayton session I did was this beautiful family of five. I just love their clothes! All of the families I photographed in Drayton had great clothing. It’s been so long, I’m rusty at blogging. I almost didn’t know what I was doing for a second. I’m getting so ready to have my baby and also to get back to work! I think it’s this gorgeous family that really got me fired up about working again. I’m thinking about starting up again soon after Quinn is born. I’m also getting super excited to take his newborn pictures, I’ve been online shopping for newborn stuff. Wish me luck;) Here’s the sneak peek from my session last week. I really enjoyed photographing these guys and having these adorable little guys show me around their gorgeous new house. Hope you enjoy these new images from me!

Most people know by now that I am moving to Okotoks on July 30th 2010. But don’t freak out until you hear the good news, I’m coming back to do fall sessions here in Drayton on September 3, 4 and 5th.
There are 5 sessions available and you must purchase a collection. All of the collections include a cd of high resolution images, you can print as many as you would like! Collections start at $600 and a 50% deposit must be paid at the time of booking your session to secure your session time. Emailing is the best way to contact me at this time, jackiehutch@gmail.com. Thank-you to everyone for your continued support and I can’t wait to do these sessions! Fall in Drayton is the most beautiful time, not necessarily the best weather!
