And the award for the most photographed young ladies in town goes to… Dalyce and Dylan! They are just that cute and are well deserving of this award. Thanks Shay for always having me photograph your wonderful family!

This is a session from a few weeks ago. Their little girl was super excited to come over to my house because she found out that her future husband “Eric” lives here. Little did she know that it’s not the real “Eric” from her favorite movie The Little Mermaid. As soon as she got here she was wondering where Eric’s truck was and if he had no truck then how did he get here? The funniest part about the whole thing was once she saw him, she wasn’t too disappointed, she took it in stride. She anticipates that he will work at Home Hardware, she will be a hairdresser and they will live happily ever after with their pet lady bug named “Diamond”.

Here are some of the images from a recent mini indoor session. I had a bunch of plans for different backdrops, but as small children will have their way, we only got to use the basic black. Next time Terri! Next time!

This session was a birthday gift to Harold from Kathy. I certainly didn’t mind a bit of a change of pace photographing a couple of gorgeous model teenagers either;) I’m so glad Harold invited Kathy and her son in for a few pictures as well, it was a ton of fun. I wish I could share more! There are tons of beautiful images, and yes I am biased and I’m not lying. Thank-you Kathy for finding me and getting a birthday gift certificate for Harold, I hope you guys had fun too, and I hope you love the pictures even more!

How quickly I am reminded of why we love to photograph in the fall. The colours are truly breathtaking. I am so excited about this session, I just love it! These guys always have a few wardrobe changes with several outfits to choose from, and we always capture some beautiful images. Not to mention how much fun it is.
I actually got invited for icecream this time, that I unfortunately had to decline and go home to my children that were missing their mom. It’s been an incredible, but busy fall season for me. I can’t thank everyone enough. I feel so honoured to have met so many great people through my photography. Thanks Lorne and Shay for putting up with me:)

A beautiful day was portayed in these images, but it definitely was not a beautiful day. It was very cold out, and the babies braved the cold almost better than I. I’m so glad we went ahead with the session despite the cold because we got some super great family pictures. Thanks Curtis and Ava for having me photograph your family again. Your baby girl is the most smiley baby I’ve seen in a long time! I’m pretty sure she gets it from her dad, I have the proof in your online gallery;)

I just love his colour in his green hoodie in the fall. I’ve been dying to photograph him, but he was either crying or sleeping when I had the time to do it. Poor guy, I think his teeth are so slow at coming in. Anyway, just wanted to share a quick post of my cutie:)
Nicole is so photogenic and she’s passed it down to her two beautiful children. I had the pleasure of photographing Nicole when she was first running for town council here in Drayton. That is where some of you might recognise her from. It was her inlaws who recently celebrated their anniversary, and as a gift they decided to get family portraits done altogether, so this is Nicole and Don’s family who are also celebrating their anniversary this Sunday! Happy Anniversary you guys, and thanks for inviting me to photograph your family. It ended up being so much fun despite the cold!

I don’t think anyone will ever know how cold it was this day except the people in the pictures and me. This is one family session that was part of a big family session and it was so cold, we were just lucky it was a sunny day. There are 3 more posts that go with this session. I’m in love with all of the pictures. What a cute family and you’ll see why when you see how cute Grandma and Grandpa are! It was a celebration for their anniversary, and I sure had fun celebrating it with them. There will be more to come from this session.
