Engagement with style! {Okotoks Wedding Photographer}

Monday, October 24th, 2011

One quick sneak peek from this engagement session that I shot two days ago. Can’t wait to share more, so busy these days! We had so much fun, we pretty much covered the whole town. So glad these guys could come down for a visit from Edmonton. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in September ’12!

Heirloom has arrived! (Custom Wedding Album Design – Calgary)

Wednesday, September 14th, 2011

I’m super excited to share Tara and Kyle’s album! These albums are incredible, and they come with every wedding package I provide for clients. The 2 best things about albums for me is knowing that clients walk away with something to show off and I absolutely love seeing my own images in print. The product shots don’t do it justice. I’m wanting to order samples of all of my weddings, but the budget just won’t allow for it, so for now, I just have my one sample. Call or email for more wedding photography information. Thank you.

Perserverance is the key! (Okotoks Photographer)

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010

This session was a test of perseverance. The forecast said rain, the people said no rain, it rained on the way out to the session, then stopped raining for about a half an hour, then some pretty mean storm clouds came our way but we just got drizzled on. Meanwhile, people in Drayton got hailed on pretty bad. So we were lucky and took a break during the short stint of rain and got back to work because this family traveled from Edmonton to their cute little cabin in the wilderness. I can tell that the children absolutely adore going out there because they allowed me to spend about 2 and a half hours with them. We got many more fun ones, but I thought I’d leave those for surprise for Christmas cards etc;)

Fantastic Wedding: Maegan & Trent Waltz

Friday, July 16th, 2010

On July 3rd I had the pleasure of photographing Maegan and Trent’s awesome wedding! It was a beautiful ceremony in a beautiful church on a beautiful day. The reception was well led by two hilarious MC’s and made the night extremely fun. Not to mention that people were having a blast on the dance floor, I did not want to leave. Thanks for having me photograph this unforgettable day Maegan and Trent, it was a ball!

Danielle and Harvey Tie the Knot (Alberta Wedding Photography)

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

On this June 19th I had the pleasure of photographing a great couple, Danielle and Harvey, on their very special wedding day. I was enjoying myself so much, I didn’t want to leave! Here are a few of Danielle getting ready for the occasion. Isn’t she a gorgeous bride? I’m dying to share more because the sun set was perfect that evening. We got to steal the bride and groom from their reception for some closing images for their album and I think I’m in love! Thank-you Danielle and Harvey for having me photograph such a wonderful event in your life. Congratulations to both of you!

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Smitten with each other. (Drayton Valley Couples Photographer)

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

Here are some sneak peeks from tonight’s session. I think they turned out fantastic, and I’m glad I got to photograph these two before we move. Speaking of moving, most people have heard through the grapevine that we are moving out of Drayton Valley to a few hours south of here. It is true, however, we don’t have a solid plan yet of where we are going and when. That being said, I’m still booking weddings here and anyone that books me before we move, gets no travel fees even in 2011! Which I’m really excited about because it will give me a chance to come back and hit some of my favorite locations around these parts.

Back to the part about the session: It’s so refreshing to see a married couple enjoy each other so much. I had a blast and laughed out loud while looking through most of the session. Thanks for a fun evening Chris and Jolene, I hope you are as excited about these as I am:) Many more great ones to come.

Tara was so adamant that she have me for her wedding that she phoned me not last summer but the summer before last for July 2010. It’s finally getting closer and I’m thrilled to be doing the wedding for them. All I hear is how much of a character this Tara girl is and I’m thinking that will make for some very fun images:) I can’t wait, the wedding will be a blast I’m sure! I’m loving Tara’s red hair and teal eyes. Stunning, don’t ya think?
