I’m designing a book for the Carpenter’s and I can’t wait till it goes to print. My favorite part of a session is seeing the images in gorgeous vibrant print.

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010I got rained out again! Luckily, we were able to go in the beautiful brand new house that Jack’s dad built and get some pictures for the second half of the session. Here is one from the session and there will be more hopefully when I have more time to edit. Thanks for stopping by my blog:) and thanks to Bonnie for having me out, it was so nice to meet the Carpenter Family.
About us Moving: We found a place and I’m just waiting for confirmation before I officially announce it after the weekend! So excited, but on the other hand sad to be leaving, I will miss this place.

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010I’m so glad that at the last minute my friend and second shooter, for lots of my weddings, decided to get maternity pictures, she’s so cute, and oh my goodness her son is such a hilarious kid! I had so much fun playing with him! He kept pretending to give me five, but gave me punches on the hand instead. Kids can never get enough of that game, I love it;) Unfortunately the rain came and cut our session short, so it’s too be continued…
How do you like my new blog header? Way passed due. I love it, every time you refresh the screen the header changes to a new picture:D My brother Jeff made it for me, I’m so thankful!

Thursday, June 10th, 2010The first thing I thought when I saw this kid is how pretty she is! She has the cutest lips and she’s so big and healthy looking with a perfect complexion and colour. I was very happy to meet her and her parents last night. I would’ve visited all evening, oh wait, I did. Trent and Krissy, thanks for having me out to your cute house, and letting me photograph you guys! I bet she’s going to be a mix of personalities of you both ~ tough but super sweet all at the same time. I can’t wait to find out if my prediction is right;)

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010I took the boys out yesterday, I’ve been feeling bad about not taking their pictures more. So I’m turning over a new leaf, and I’m going to buy a new point and shoot that I can live with. Hopefully we’ll see more pictures of them.

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010Here are some sneak peeks from tonight’s session. I think they turned out fantastic, and I’m glad I got to photograph these two before we move. Speaking of moving, most people have heard through the grapevine that we are moving out of Drayton Valley to a few hours south of here. It is true, however, we don’t have a solid plan yet of where we are going and when. That being said, I’m still booking weddings here and anyone that books me before we move, gets no travel fees even in 2011! Which I’m really excited about because it will give me a chance to come back and hit some of my favorite locations around these parts.
Back to the part about the session: It’s so refreshing to see a married couple enjoy each other so much. I had a blast and laughed out loud while looking through most of the session. Thanks for a fun evening Chris and Jolene, I hope you are as excited about these as I am:) Many more great ones to come.

Friday, May 21st, 2010The infamous girls again. I just love the playfulness of this session. We did have some fun picking flowers and running around doing whatever the girls wanted even though it was kind of chilly.

Saturday, May 8th, 2010It was so cute seeing Vaughn celebrate his 2nd birthday, I think it was my favorite birthday yet and saddest because my baby is turning 2 on May 12th! We had a really nice time with just the family. My Mom in law, is the best cake decorator ever! How adorable is that cake? Vaughn was thrilled with it, which was the best part! It even tasted amazing! On another note, I’m really excited for the Boudoir Marathon tomorrow, it is going to be totally awesome! Also, I just wanted to let everyone know that I’ll be MIA until the 16th, as I’m headed to Mexico for a nice relaxing holiday with my bff from grade school. Meanwhile enjoy the pictures!
