I just love his colour in his green hoodie in the fall. I’ve been dying to photograph him, but he was either crying or sleeping when I had the time to do it. Poor guy, I think his teeth are so slow at coming in. Anyway, just wanted to share a quick post of my cutie:)

I had the pleasure of photographing Nicole when she was first running for town council here in Drayton. That is where some of you might recognise her from. It was her inlaws who recently celebrated their anniversary, and as a gift they decided to get family portraits done altogether, so this is Nicole and Don’s family who are also celebrating their anniversary this Sunday! Happy Anniversary you guys, and thanks for inviting me to photograph your family. It ended up being so much fun despite the cold!

Saturday, October 10th, 2009I don’t think anyone will ever know how cold it was this day except the people in the pictures and me. This is one family session that was part of a big family session and it was so cold, we were just lucky it was a sunny day. There are 3 more posts that go with this session. I’m in love with all of the pictures. What a cute family and you’ll see why when you see how cute Grandma and Grandpa are! It was a celebration for their anniversary, and I sure had fun celebrating it with them. There will be more to come from this session.

Thursday, October 8th, 2009It’s been an extremely busy last couple of months, and I want to thank all of you for your kind words about my work, it’s because of you guys that I am able to what I do! Unfortunately for the people who wanted sessions this year, the spots are all full and I am now booking into January. The response from people this year has been incredible, thanks so much for your continued support! I look forward to another year of many more sessions. I was lucky enough to head out yesterday with my three boys but one fell asleep so it’s only the two. But just thought I’d share with you my cuties. Thank goodness I didn’t wait any longer!

My theory is that if the kids are having fun, then the parents will be able to relax and just enjoy the time with the family. That is what we did with the Willoughby Family. Though the kids did not enjoy watching their parents snuggle up close for some “action” shots. Here’s to another family fun session! Tuesday, October 6th, 2009Jen is the owner of the uber convenient and now even hipper “Winters Pharmacy” in town, which is undergoing a transformation and will soon have a new face (maybe it’s already done- it’s very close). I don’t know what it looks like yet, but if it’s anything like how awesome these guys look in their blue and green complimentary colours, I think it’s going to be pretty sweet! How cute are they all? Gorgeous people inside and out! I can’t wait to see the new “pharmacy” and I can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures! Just a warning, you might want to wait till your kids are in bed and put on some music to view the last couple of images ~ sorry Jen I had to! Saturday, October 3rd, 2009We just kept having so much fun and capturing tons of fun images. There are even more that I didn’t post up here. I could barely narrow it down! I hope you love the images as much as I do Melissa and Brandon. Your daughters are just so cute! Their daughter was tired and her mom told her that they paid me money to take their pictures and their daughter replied with “What are you broke or something?” You just never know what kids will say:) LOL! We met in Evansburg because the Blue’s live in Edson, which worked out well for both of us I think. Thanks again Mel and Brandon!

Friday, October 2nd, 2009I loved being able to go out to these guy’s acreage and just run around with Mr. C. He had so much to show and tell me. His mom stayed inside trying to give the baby a nap. Instead he didn’t sleep and she found Mr. C’s brand new fish not living anymore. She was afraid to break the news, but he took it surprisingly well. The baby ended up having his nap outside in the yard while I photographed him sleeping in a basket. It was melting my heart! Thanks for having me out Joanne, it was a lot of fun!

Monday, September 28th, 2009I think Mamie and I were sisters in a past life. Well, except her house is clean. I know it because I saw it when I dropped in and she wasn’t expecting me. But I figured out that we must have been sisters in a previous life when I saw her son wearing runners with no socks! I do it all the time, it’s gotten to the point that Ryker prefers to wear his shoes without socks now. Here are some pictures of her beautiful family, I really have a huge attachment to these kiddos now. I think it’s the 6th time I’ve photographed them, wow! Thanks guys for always trusting me with your family portraits. It’s always fun!
