Jackie Hutchinson Photography: So Much Fun! (Drayton Valley Family Photographer)

Friday, September 25th, 2009

This 4 year old girly is a party waiting for a place to happen:) It was so much fun visiting with her while I snuck a few pictures in. What a gorgeous personality and smile she has! Not to mention what a cute little brother she has. He’s a “mini me” of his daddy;) Thanks Sandra and Scott for having me photograph your family for a second time, it’s always a pleasure.

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Gorgeous Baby Blue Eyes (Drayton Valley Baby Photographer)

Sunday, September 20th, 2009

It wasn’t easy getting baby to do much except sleep and eat and sleep. I still managed to snag a few gorgeous pictures of this gorgeous three month old, and quite possibly my favorite hands and feet ones ever! Such a sweetie pie. I think she gave me baby fever;) Thanks for the visit Aretha, I had a nice time.

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: An old farm with a grassy field would be nice! Drayton Valley Family Photographer

These guys just get better and better everytime and I am in love with these images! I’m in love with this location because you’ll see that in the next two sessions I’ll share are taken here. It’s so versatile, old buildings and grassy field. What more could a photographer want? ;) I had so much fun at this session, I was dying to see and share the pictures.

Cathrea Family

Here’s a super nice email sent to me the day after their session:

“Hey Jackie;

I’m not wondering yet if you have the pics posted!! LOL Just wanted to Thank-you so much once again for photographing our yearly family photos! The kids are starting to get really comfortable with you and I think they enjoy all the snap shot attention! Each year it just amazes me how you always seem to come up with a unique way to capture the moments of our family. I can hardly wait to see some of the pics, looking forward to many more yearly photos.

Amanda”

Thank-you Amanda and Ian! I hope you love them as much as I do.

You know when it someone’s birthday and they are crying, you can’t help but sing that song… It’s my party I can cry if I want to… unfortunately I was singing this song to the baby during the session. Part of the reason he was cranky might be that he braved getting up super early to get the good light and low and behold he decided to grow a tooth on his birthday. At least we got some cake out of the deal:) We crashed the birthday party just to try and get a few more shots after his nap, which turned out to be successful and a tooth popped up as well. Overall, I’d say fun was had by all!

My father in law took us fishing at Buck Lake, here are some of the fish we caught. I even put a leach on my own hook once. Vaughn liked touching the fish too.

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Families Are The Greatest Gifts (Drayton Valley Family Photography)

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

The boys and I just got back from visiting my own family, so this reminded me of how great families are. My mom has a bunch of family photos hanging up in her newly decorated basement. They are so fun to look at and it’s a treat because my brothers are photographers too. I had the pleasure of doing a photoshoot for my brother and his girlfriend which hopefully you’ll see some from that session in a few days. For now here are some sneak peeks from this beautiful family. I would love to do more family sessions, so get your family booked for the fall now! Sessions are limited and going fast.

My oldest is almost in Kindergarten. Lately he has become alot closer to me, I really love the closeness we share. Things are different, he is getting older and more independent. I thought it would be sad to see him grow, but it’s nice.

When I saw them having so much fun I quickly ran to get my camera, it’s been a while since I photographed them. Vaughn is getting so big and so cute! Not that he wasn’t before, but I just love his red hair!

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Brother. Sister. Siblings. (Drayton Valley Kids Photography)

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

For this session I visited their home which is on an acreage and had a lovely visit with their mom while waiting for the storm clouds to soften the light. Sometimes I think that an acreage would be so fun for my kids to grow up on. Then again, I do love the conveniences of living in town. They are growing up so fast, it’s even more evident when I only get to see others in the various stages of their kids’ life. It’s so awesome to see the changes in them through the photographs I’ve taken, Mamie, you guys are so beautiful! Thanks for having me again!
