A bun in the oven! Alberta Maternity Photography

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

I don’t know if you recognize these two from my first destination wedding in Edson, but they haven’t wasted any time and are pregnant with their first child! Or you might also recognize them as the engaged couple that got ravaged by fleas during their engagement session. (I heard that their photographer got it worse than them!) They travelled again from Edson to have me capture the next special chapter in their lives. I’m so happy for these guys, it was so awesome to see them again and know that everything is going well for them. Thanks for having me photograph you guys for the third time! I would love to come back to photograph the three of you at some point, I’ll keep posting on the blog as to when I’ll be back in the area. I hope you enjoy the sneak previews.

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Numero dos

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

I’m so glad that at the last minute my friend and second shooter, for lots of my weddings, decided to get maternity pictures, she’s so cute, and oh my goodness her son is such a hilarious kid! I had so much fun playing with him! He kept pretending to give me five, but gave me punches on the hand instead. Kids can never get enough of that game, I love it;) Unfortunately the rain came and cut our session short, so it’s too be continued…

How do you like my new blog header? Way passed due. I love it, every time you refresh the screen the header changes to a new picture:D My brother Jeff made it for me, I’m so thankful!

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Pretty baby!

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

The first thing I thought when I saw this kid is how pretty she is! She has the cutest lips and she’s so big and healthy looking with a perfect complexion and colour. I was very happy to meet her and her parents last night. I would’ve visited all evening, oh wait, I did. Trent and Krissy, thanks for having me out to your cute house, and letting me photograph you guys! I bet she’s going to be a mix of personalities of you both ~ tough but super sweet all at the same time. I can’t wait to find out if my prediction is right;)

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Distinguished Gentleman (Drayton Valley Newborn Photography)

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

He’s distinguished. His mother thinks he looks like a little man, so I’m telling you he’s distinguished. This is my friends baby, Jackson, he was born a few weeks ago already. He doesn’t really sleep, so it was practically a miracle to get some of him sleeping. What a cutie:) Thanks for having me photograph him Kristen. Have a great day everyone!

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Welcome to the World Baby! (Drayton Valley Newborn Photographer)

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

My friend Kerri had her baby and it was a beautiful boy! Fortunately for me he slept most of the session, (I think he’s making up for all the kicking he did while he was in his mommy’s tummy or he’s just saving his energy for when he turns two). Either way, he’s a really peaceful baby and some people argue that he takes after his daddy;) Kerri, I look forward to doing more photos of the family in the summer time, thanks for choosing me to photograph this incredibly special time in your life! Congratulations on the new baby boy!

This is a session from a few weeks ago. Their little girl was super excited to come over to my house because she found out that her future husband “Eric” lives here. Little did she know that it’s not the real “Eric” from her favorite movie The Little Mermaid. As soon as she got here she was wondering where Eric’s truck was and if he had no truck then how did he get here? The funniest part about the whole thing was once she saw him, she wasn’t too disappointed, she took it in stride. She anticipates that he will work at Home Hardware, she will be a hairdresser and they will live happily ever after with their pet lady bug named “Diamond”.

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: The Tummy Baby! (Drayton Valley Maternity Photographer)

Friday, September 18th, 2009

This baby is 1 week over due today and I personally am anxiously awaiting (with my cell phone charged), because we get to babysit the big sister and big brother while their mommy goes to the hospital to deliver! It’s been a treat to see the tummy baby grow up to be a big tummy baby being that it is our neighbour. We just wish she would hurry up and be born so we all can meet her!

How fortunate I am to have the best job in the world! I love having tiny glimpses into peoples lives during such exciting times and being able to give them something to help them remember vividly what that moment in time was like. I’m excited to be one more person to share in the welcoming of this baby, I can’t wait to meet her! (Assuming the prediction is correct;) Good Luck Lizelle and Charles and thank-you for the fun time at our session.

We went to the city a few weeks ago to see our friends before they had Bruce and to see their new home. The house is fantastic and the yard is even better! Here are some of the maternity pictures from the visit.

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Here comes #2! (Drayton Valley Maternity Photographer)

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

I had the opportunity to do Rhonda’s maternity session with her first baby. I’m so excited to be able to share in the excitement of baby # 2!  Seeing Cooper now at the age of 3 is also so much fun,  he’s such a sweetie, even more than the pictures convey. He will be an amazing big bro when #2 comes. I can’t wait to meet the new addition I had such a fun day!
