This is another Drayton Valley session, but I want people in Okotoks to find me on their web search because that is where I’m currently living and working. I do plan to go back to Drayton at various times of the year to shoot, but I will inform the blog and Facebook followers of that happening. Here’s a huge post to make up for my tiny post last year. I have had the pleasure of doing this family’s pictures every year for the last 4 years. We always manage to get something different. Thanks for having me again Amanda and Ian!

This is another sneak peek from a Drayton family session. You might remember this spunky country girl from her newborn session. I had the pleasure of taking their family pictures once again this year. She is getting around very well these days, a little too well;) Tough girl though, she had a couple of falls, where I thought she might be done but she never tired out, she kept right on going a mile a minute! I bet she keeps her mom and dad busy during this stage of her life. She is very cute! Here are some of the fun images we got. I think I was right about my prediction from her newborn session lol, but time will tell I guess.

The second Drayton session I did was this beautiful family of five. I just love their clothes! All of the families I photographed in Drayton had great clothing. Autumn, beautiful weather, & good friends was what this past weekend was all about! Here are the sneak peeks I promised by the middle of the night tonight. I’m super excited to share Tara and Kyle’s album! These albums are incredible, and they come with every wedding package I provide for clients. The 2 best things about albums for me is knowing that clients walk away with something to show off and I absolutely love seeing my own images in print. The product shots don’t do it justice. I’m wanting to order samples of all of my weddings, but the budget just won’t allow for it, so for now, I just have my one sample. Call or email for more wedding photography information. Thank you.

Lathwell Twins (Okotoks Newborn Photography)

Here are the twins that love to be fashionably early. Three months early actually, but are doing wonderfully as you can gather by these pictures. They must have known summer was going to be short and didn’t want to come just for the cold! I had such a great time photographing them. It was pretty time intensive but thank goodness Amanda Grue came along to assist me. She’s probably been dying to share some of the images, that she captured, on her facebook but she’s been patiently waiting for me to post first:) Thanks Amanda, you were a tremendous help and your monkey hats are to die for!

A big thank-you to all of Kym’s friends that pitched in for her maternity session gift certificate! I might not have had the chance to meet these darlings without that;) Your business means alot to me. Thanks Kym and Dean for letting us come over and invade your house for a few hours, I hope you were able to have lunch and a nap after we left. Your babies are so sweet! I’m sure I wasn’t the only person super excited to see them either.

Perserverance is the key! (Okotoks Photographer)

This session was a test of perseverance. The forecast said rain, the people said no rain, it rained on the way out to the session, then stopped raining for about a half an hour, then some pretty mean storm clouds came our way but we just got drizzled on. Meanwhile, people in Drayton got hailed on pretty bad. So we were lucky and took a break during the short stint of rain and got back to work because this family traveled from Edmonton to their cute little cabin in the wilderness. I can tell that the children absolutely adore going out there because they allowed me to spend about 2 and a half hours with them. We got many more fun ones, but I thought I’d leave those for surprise for Christmas cards etc;)

Majeau + Kos Wedding

Here are a few sneak peeks from Dayne and Danelle’s absolutely stunning wedding from August 7th. They had a beautiful ceremony, they wrote their own vows and the weather was unbelievably phenomenal!
