Time to book your holiday session!

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Most people know by now that I am moving to Okotoks on July 30th 2010. But don’t freak out until you hear the good news, I’m coming back to do fall sessions here in Drayton on September 3, 4 and 5th.
There are 5 sessions available and you must purchase a collection. All of the collections include a cd of high resolution images, you can print as many as you would like! Collections start at $600 and a 50% deposit must be paid at the time of booking your session to secure your session time. Emailing is the best way to contact me at this time, jackiehutch@gmail.com. Thank-you to everyone for your continued support and I can’t wait to do these sessions! Fall in Drayton is the most beautiful time, not necessarily the best weather! If the weather does not permit, sessions will be rescheduled to the Sept 24th weekend. Here are some from one of last years family sessions:

Oh Jackie Boy!

Monday, July 19th, 2010

Just wanted to share one more from the Carpenter’s session from a month ago while I upload files from Tara and Kyles wedding. Isn’t Jack adorable in every way? I’m designing a book for the Carpenter’s and I can’t wait till it goes to print. My favorite part of a session is seeing the images in gorgeous vibrant print.

Fantastic Wedding: Maegan & Trent Waltz

Friday, July 16th, 2010

On July 3rd I had the pleasure of photographing Maegan and Trent’s awesome wedding! It was a beautiful ceremony in a beautiful church on a beautiful day. The reception was well led by two hilarious MC’s and made the night extremely fun. Not to mention that people were having a blast on the dance floor, I did not want to leave. Thanks for having me photograph this unforgettable day Maegan and Trent, it was a ball!

A bun in the oven! Alberta Maternity Photography

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

I don’t know if you recognize these two from my first destination wedding in Edson, but they haven’t wasted any time and are pregnant with their first child! Or you might also recognize them as the engaged couple that got ravaged by fleas during their engagement session. (I heard that their photographer got it worse than them!) They travelled again from Edson to have me capture the next special chapter in their lives. I’m so happy for these guys, it was so awesome to see them again and know that everything is going well for them. Thanks for having me photograph you guys for the third time! I would love to come back to photograph the three of you at some point, I’ll keep posting on the blog as to when I’ll be back in the area. I hope you enjoy the sneak previews.

The Groomsmen (Alberta Wedding Photographer, Jackie Hutchinson)

Saturday, June 26th, 2010

Here are some more from Danielle and Harvey’s wedding last weekend, Harvey getting ready for his big debut! I love these images taken by my assistant Jeff Gibbons who traveled from Edmonton to grace us with his presence. The black and white image was taken behind the hotel, who’d have thought? I’d also like to thank Carmen Williams for doing a wonderful job and making my job a tiny bit easier! Thank-you. Did I already tell you how much I love these Groomsmen shots? They are amazing!

Danielle and Harvey Tie the Knot (Alberta Wedding Photography)

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

On this June 19th I had the pleasure of photographing a great couple, Danielle and Harvey, on their very special wedding day. I was enjoying myself so much, I didn’t want to leave! Here are a few of Danielle getting ready for the occasion. Isn’t she a gorgeous bride? I’m dying to share more because the sun set was perfect that evening. We got to steal the bride and groom from their reception for some closing images for their album and I think I’m in love! Thank-you Danielle and Harvey for having me photograph such a wonderful event in your life. Congratulations to both of you!

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: “Jackie Boy”

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

I got rained out again! Luckily, we were able to go in the beautiful brand new house that Jack’s dad built and get some pictures for the second half of the session. Here is one from the session and there will be more hopefully when I have more time to edit. Thanks for stopping by my blog:) and thanks to Bonnie for having me out, it was so nice to meet the Carpenter Family.

About us Moving: We found a place and I’m just waiting for confirmation before I officially announce it after the weekend! So excited, but on the other hand sad to be leaving, I will miss this place.

Jackie Hutchinson Photography: Numero dos

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

I’m so glad that at the last minute my friend and second shooter, for lots of my weddings, decided to get maternity pictures, she’s so cute, and oh my goodness her son is such a hilarious kid! I had so much fun playing with him! He kept pretending to give me five, but gave me punches on the hand instead. Kids can never get enough of that game, I love it;) Unfortunately the rain came and cut our session short, so it’s too be continued…

How do you like my new blog header? Way passed due. I love it, every time you refresh the screen the header changes to a new picture:D My brother Jeff made it for me, I’m so thankful!
