Okotoks Family Photographer – Love is…
Tuesday, September 20th, 2011I had an amazing time photographing this family. I think the most rewarding part of being a family photographer is seeing amazing young families enjoying being together and capturing those moments the way they really were in that time period. I thought my baby had the cutest laugh, but holy smokes, this baby’s daddy can really get him giggling, and it’s soooo adorable! My baby and this cute baby are only five days apart:) I loved that they were so much alike too. Thanks for having me photograph your beautiful family Nikki, it was my pleasure. I’ve had extreme luck in my business having the opportunity to meet and photograph such stunningly beautiful people inside and out.

Playful, is an understatement (Okotoks Family Photographer)
Sunday, September 11th, 2011It’s gotten so late, I can’t even think about what this post was going to be about! All I know is I think I met one of the most agreeable, easy going 10 year olds out there, and a 15 year old boy that will be such a great babysitter for my boys! And a mom that helped me see why having boys was probably a good thing. Seriously though, the girls of Okotoks need to watch out for these two heart breakers! I literally feel on a high on my way home after a session, I completely forget I have a family, until I’m in the car thinking oh my goodness, my baby is probably starving! Then the inner me says “but, that session was soooo awesome! I say this all too often, I. Love. My. Job. The. End. GOOD NIGHT ALL. I hope that doesn’t sound like I don’t love my family, because I do and I consider myself lucky to be able to enjoy both! There is one more, that I am going to have to share, it’s a karate one, but I’m way too tired to do anything else.

One word, AMAZING! (Okotoks Family Photographer)
Sunday, September 4th, 2011My status on Facebook was that this session was truly amazing. The family was beautiful and loving, the baby didn’t make a peep, and we put him through everything possible. The 2 yr old was an absolute darling with big beautiful blue eyes. Busy. But so cute! Here I leave you to a quick sneak peek. Thanks for the amazing session Courtney and Andrew!

For those of you contemplating doing a mini session on Sept. 17th, spots are filling up quickly, and there are only a few spaces left. I’m hoping to do the mini sessions at this same location shown in this post. It is probably one of my favorite places I’ve ever shot at! So versatile! Thank-you to all of the very nice people who stopped in at my booth today at the Market Square. I thoroughly enjoyed myself today! I’m feeling the high:) And a very special thank-you to H + G for letting me use your property this evening and in the future as well.
Oh the places she’ll go! {Okotoks Graduation Photographer}
Tuesday, July 5th, 2011She has a plan, and that plan is to let the world take her by the hand and show her the many wonders. I couldn’t tell who was more excited for graduation, mom or daughter. Her mother made this such a special occasion, I was so pleased to be part of it all. Here are a few sneak peeks and still more to come.

Firey hot!
Wednesday, October 20th, 2010Just a few from my session with the Cathrea family. More to come, don’t you worry;)

PS. I can’t wait till Ryker loses his first tooth.
Perserverance is the key! (Okotoks Photographer)
Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010This session was a test of perseverance. The forecast said rain, the people said no rain, it rained on the way out to the session, then stopped raining for about a half an hour, then some pretty mean storm clouds came our way but we just got drizzled on. Meanwhile, people in Drayton got hailed on pretty bad. So we were lucky and took a break during the short stint of rain and got back to work because this family traveled from Edmonton to their cute little cabin in the wilderness. I can tell that the children absolutely adore going out there because they allowed me to spend about 2 and a half hours with them. We got many more fun ones, but I thought I’d leave those for surprise for Christmas cards etc;)

Majeau + Kos Wedding
Saturday, August 28th, 2010Here are a few sneak peeks from Dayne and Danelle’s absolutely stunning wedding from August 7th. They had a beautiful ceremony, they wrote their own vows and the weather was unbelievably phenomenal! Here are only a few but lots more to come of this gorgeous wedding. Hope you love them and sorry to make you wait to see more!

Time to book your holiday session!
Wednesday, July 21st, 2010Most people know by now that I am moving to Okotoks on July 30th 2010. But don’t freak out until you hear the good news, I’m coming back to do fall sessions here in Drayton on September 3, 4 and 5th.
There are 5 sessions available and you must purchase a collection. All of the collections include a cd of high resolution images, you can print as many as you would like! Collections start at $600 and a 50% deposit must be paid at the time of booking your session to secure your session time. Emailing is the best way to contact me at this time, jackiehutch@gmail.com. Thank-you to everyone for your continued support and I can’t wait to do these sessions! Fall in Drayton is the most beautiful time, not necessarily the best weather! If the weather does not permit, sessions will be rescheduled to the Sept 24th weekend. Here are some from one of last years family sessions:
