Hey everyone, I am looking for some models. Models will need to sign a release allowing Jackie Hutchinson Photography to use the images that are taken for portfolio use.

I am looking for the following ages…

Newborn- less than 10 days old as of April 30th – if you are due the last week of April or First week of May- this is for you!

Maternity- between 26-30 weeks pregnant as of April 30.

Children- 7-9 months, and 3-6 years old.

All models will receive at least 10 digital files on a disc- a value of $750- for free! If you are interested- please email me at info@jackiehutch.com

I was so excited when Molly asked me to do some shots for her Acting/ modeling portfolio. It’s not everyday I get to photograph actors living in L.A. That’s the big time;) Here are a few from our session, I really enjoyed working with her.

I’m pretty excited to be blogging today because I have a big announcement to make. I’ve got my own office! That’s not to be confused with “studio”. I’ve decided to take my business to the next level. From now on I’ll have regular office hours – MWF 9-4 TTh 12-4 I’m hoping to be there earlier on Wednesdays and Fridays. I’m so happy, I’ve been hanging up posters and boudoir ads at the gym, so if you’re in Okotoks keep your eyes peeled for my marketing, please let me know what you think of it;) Pictures of the office are coming, still getting organized. I feel really great about my decision, and also my decision to do all on-location work. Wish me luck!

I’m looking forward to doing a family session tomorrow, they talked about wanting a display on the wall which is always exciting for me! I’m planning on going to a couple of client’s homes to take pictures of their canvas’s so you can see what they look like hanging on the wall. In the meantime here are some sneak peeks from a newborn session I did.

Fabulous Family! – Okotoks Family Photographer

Christmas is always one of my favorite times of the year. This past Christmas was made even more special because I got to share part of it with a very fabulous family on Boxing Day. Everyone was gathered here in Okotoks to celebrate Christmas and also a special milestone birthday for their Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma. I was honoured to photograph such a special occasion, not to mention how wonderful everyone was to work with!

We were fortunate enough to go outside for a few pictures on the front door step of their beautiful home and also a few inside their home. Looking back at these pictures now, it’s hard to believe this is what the weather was like on Boxing Day 2011. Enjoy.

Sayin’ goodbye to Miss Peanut Butter Pie! Okotoks Family Photography

I met Theresa one fine day on the Facebook Okotoks Mamas group. She invited anyone and everyone to come over for an innocent piece of peanut butter pie, and the rest is history. We quickly became good friends and I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with her and her adorable little guy Bodhi Lando Hermanos Fantasticus Gerritsen. Say that in one breath;) To make a sad story short, they’re moving to Bermuda:( I’m not the only one who will miss her though, she made some good friends in town and anyone that knows her is sad to see her go.
